The Trinity Art Department is fortunate to house a state-of-the-art design lab. This room is a second home for our design students where they learn and develop their skills with the Apple iMacs installed with the latest design software. This space welcomes creativity. The walls surrounding the iMacs contain tack boards and dry-erase boards; these offer ample space to hang work for critique and further exploration. The west wall of the lab is fully windowed offering natural light which invokes creativity. Students enter and exit with their student ID's through a secure door with keypad access. This ensures the safety of students and their work at all hours.
Trinity's Mac Lab is home to many design classes and photography classes. With the design software, students are assured a well rounded education that prepares them to enter the world equipped and ready to tackle any projects that come their way. While in-class work trains students in the basics, they are encouraged to take their learning outside of the classroom and apply it in many aspects of their lives. Many students spend as much time outside of class as they do in class developing their skills to get the most out of their education.
