Trinity has an Advanced studio space that houses individual studios for junior and senior students. This supports the creative process of students and also encourages collaboration because of the close proximity of both fellow students' studios as well as faculty studios. First and second year students are also eligible for studio spaces when available. These studio spaces help students develop their professional practice as artists by giving them a place to make, relax, and connect.
Trinity's advanced studio space is a place of late nights, experiential learning, and critique and encouragement from peers and faculty. While this is a designated for upperclassmen in advanced studio and design classes, the whole department is a part of "studio talk" which happens on a regular basis.
This space offers ventilation for painting studios, clean crisp white walls ready to be filled with work, mobile lighting kits and cameras for documentation of work, and large windows with natural light to encourage and support the creative process.
